2005 Woodex

                        Scholars HSPACE=2005 Woodex Scholarship Winners

 

Woodex Bearing Company funds several annual scholarships for deserving Georgetown students. The 2005 recipients, (L to R, above) are Marissa McMahan, Michelle Fiscus, Freya Damrell, and Christopher Bissett. Also winning scholarships in 2005, but not in photo, were Vincent Bosso and Rebecca White.

Marissa attends the University of Southern Maine, and studies biology and anthropology. Michelle studies volcanology and geology at University of Maine, Orono, and Freya attends Simmons College. Christopher is an automotive technology major at Central Maine Technical College, Vincent studies history at University of Maine, Orono, and Rebecca is a biochemistry major at Bates College.

The Woodex Scholarships are awarded and administered by The Georgetown Working League, a non-profit ladies' charitable organization which underwrites and supports a variety of community activities.
