Travels with Harry - a Photo Journal

 In August of 2002, famed Al Capella group
Da Vinci's Notebook played to a disappointingly small house at a popular dinner establishment
in Ogunquit, Maine. Obviously concerned by the poor turnout, the boys apparently
questioned their continuing ability to care for their horse, Harry, and when they sailed
south left him in our care
until their financial condition started looking better.
 DVN has since ceased touring, except for the occasional kegger or bar mitzvah, and Harry has
taken up more or less permanent residence here in Maine.
 He's spent much of the
intervening years exploring Maine, and discovering such curiosities as Indian Pipes (Monotropa
Uniflora), a small, delicate saprophyte (no, not a fungus) that grows in and near the woods here (left), and
Big Al's Super Values, Route One Wiscasset (below, right), where several of Harry's relatives reside.
But Harry's spent considerable time touring, as well, so as to remain in practice, should DVN suddenly become independently wealthy and decide once again to set forth upon the Troubador's Way.
